LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A 23-year-old man died after he crashed his car into a pole early Sunday morning in New Albany, Indiana.
Indiana State Police said officers responded to a single-vehicle crash around 1:40 a.m. in the 1800 block of Klerner Lane.
According to police, 23-year-old Cole Lamkin of Charlestown, Indiana, drove off the roadway and crashed into a pole.
Lamkin was the only one in the car and was taken to UofL Hospital where he later died.
Police said Lamkin hit a mailbox and utility pole, but it's unknown at this time why his vehicle left the roadway.
There were no signs of alcohol or drugs, and weather wasn't a factor, according to ISP.
