LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Elizabethtown Independent Schools locked down two campuses on Wednesday over a threat.
Police said the threat was not made toward school staff or students, but rather a local judicial official.
Police said they noticed a connection between the school district and the threat. Helmwood Heights Elementary, Morningside Elementary and TK Stone Middle schools were put on soft lockdowns.
Police said students and staff were never in danger.
Just before 3 p.m., Kentucky State Police arrested Kelron Decoteau in another county. He's charged with intimidating a participant in a legal process.
