LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Those looking for places to dispose of their Christmas tree in southern Indiana have several options for free drop-off when it's time to take down those decorations.
Recycle Floyd County will work with three county agencies to organize the program, which will provide people four drop-off locations for three weeks:
- Sam Peden Community Park — 3037 Grant Line Road, New Albany
- Letty Walter Park — 5345 St. Mary’s Road, Floyds Knobs
- Garry E. Cavan Park — 6485 Corydon Ridge Road, Edwardsville
- Galena Digital Library — 6954 Highway 150, Greenville
All decorations, bags and stands must be removed from the trees before they can be dropped off. For more information, call Recycle Floyd Count at 812-948-4733.
