LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The weekend is upon us and there are plenty of things to do and see across Kentuckiana.

Here are a selection of events, markets, concerts and more happening Friday, July 19 through Sunday, July 21.

Meade County Fair

The Meade County Fair kicks off this weekend.

The weeklong event starts this Saturday, July 20, and runs through next Saturday, July 27, at the Meade County Fairgrounds in Brandenburg.

The fair includes a 5K, a tractor pull, an antique tractor and engine show, animal shows, cornhole and much more.

Admission is $15. Kids 2 years old and younger are free, but if they want to go on rides they will have to pay.

The Meade County Fairgrounds are located at 884 Hillcrest Drive in Brandenburg.

Mag Bar Music Festival

The Mag Bar Music Festival at Magnolia Bar on South 2nd Street in Old Louisville started Thursday and runs through Sunday. 

Doors open at 6:30 p.m., with music starting at 7:15 p.m. Thursday and Friday. Doors open at 3:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

Acts performing Thursday include The Hell You Say, Why DOMS, Proles, Satellite Twin and Bungalow Betty.

Friday night performances include Will Romeo, Thresh, Producing a Kind Generation, Nowhere Fast, Ghost Town Remedy and the Daddy Sisters.

Saturday's artists are Veilcaste, Cell Intruder, Baptise, Bad Wires, Blind Scryer, Crop, Redivider, Faerie Ring, Shi and Howling Giant.

Sunday's lineup includes Stay Bent, Bandshee, The Mighty Ohio, Hyper Tensions, Yellow Cellophane, Big Girl, Drying Out and Isolation Tank Ensemble.

TBT Louisville Basketball Tournament

The annual TBT basketball tournament opens this weekend at Freedom Hall on Phillips Lane in Louisville.

The Cards will play UKnighted, a team featuring former Bellarmine stars, at 1 p.m. Saturday in Freedom Hall.

TBT is a 64-team, single-elimination tournament of former college players that features a $1 million winner-takes-all prize.

If LaFamilia, the team of former Kentucky players, and The Ville, the team of former Louisville guys, win their first three games, the Cards and Cats are bracketed to play in the TBT quarterfinals July 29.

It's reported that this weekend will see the first TBT crowd of at least 10,000 in its 11th season. 

A check of ticket availability at the official TBT website Wednesday showed that no lower bowl tickets remain for the Louisville-Bellarmine game. There are plenty of $28 seats in the upper arena.

Santa's Summer Safari 2024

Santa and Mrs. Claus are taking time out of their summer vacation to visit the Louisville Zoo this weekend.

The zoo is hosting Santa's Summer Safari this Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Organizers said the event includes winter-themed fun, holiday enrichment for the animals and games for kids. 

Activities include elf fishing, crafts — including a slime craft with Santa and Mrs. Claus — games like nutcracker toss and snowball toss, and an obstacle course game.

The event is free with zoo admission or a membership.

2024 Jeffersontown Summer Beer Fest 

Jeffersontown's Summer Beer Fest happens this Saturday, July 20, from 4-8 p.m. at Gaslight Pavilion on Watterson Trail.

You must be 21+ to attend. General admission costs $45, or you can buy a pack of four for $160. Designated driver tickets are also available for $10.

The festival consists of local and national craft breweries, a "BEYOND BEER BAR," seltzer bar and wine from Oliver Winery. There will also be food trucks and local vendors, as well as live music
