LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A southern Indiana man died after a car crash on Wednesday.
The Jefferson County Indiana Sheriffs department said it responded to the crash at 3100 Clifty Drive.
Police said 67-year-old Barry Phillips was traveling southbound on Clifty Drive when he crossed the center line, crashing head-on into a Chevy Silverado travelling northbound.
Two people were in the Silverado, 64-year-old Steve Fischer and 68-year-old James Furnish.
Police said Phillips and Furnish were airlifted to UofL Hospital, where Phillips later died.
Furnish was transported to Norton King's Daughters' Hospital in Madison, Indiana.
The conditions of Fischer and Furnish are not known at this time.
