LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Drivers in southern Indiana will have to wait a few more days for Blackiston Mill Road to reopen.
A portion of Blackiston Mill has been closed for construction for eight months behind the Kroger on Lewis and Clark Parkway in Clarksville, Indiana.Â
The road was supposed to reopen Monday, but town officials said it will now open at the end of the day Wednesday, Nov. 22.Â
Officials said the extra days will allow crews to finish the work, instead of closing the road again next spring.
Crews have been adding sidewalks, a new turning lane into the Peddler's Mall, new sight lines for drivers, and improved drainage systems.
