LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The Belknap Fall Festival was held at the historic Douglass Loop this weekend.
The two-day event hosted by the Belknap Neighborhood Association included regional artists, food and live music. The juried art show featured wood workers, prints and photos. There was also a family fun zone.
Each year, more than 12,000 people attend the event. Neighbors said it is a way for the community to support each other.
"It is just a wonderful way to meet your neighbors," said Heather Fox. "I was kind of reflecting on that earlier when I was just looking around at all the people and the different kinds of people who were here and enjoying the music."
Proceeds from the festival go toward Belknap's award-winning tree canopy program.
