LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Two Kentucky lawmakers have filed a bill calling for Daylight Saving Time to be year-round.
That means there would be more light later in the day during the winter.
Brandon Reed of Hodgenville and Bart Rowland of Tompkinsville sponsored the bill. Rowland says studies show a later sunset improves traffic safety, crime rates, and electricity use.
Congress would need to pass a law allowing states to make the change.
