LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Madison, Indiana, has a new interim mayor after Damon Welch died in September.
Republican mayoral candidate Bob Courtney was chosen by the Republican caucus over the weekend. The caucus is responsible for choosing a temporary mayor in the event of a death.
Courtney is running against Democrat Julie Berry in November's election. Whoever wins that race will take over the office in January.
