LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The public will have a chance to speak out about a proposed smoking ban at all Bullitt County-owned buildings Wednesday evening.
The Bullitt County Health Department passed a resolution in 2011 banning smoking in all public places -- but that resolution is being challenged in a lawsuit before the state Supreme Court.
This proposal is only for Bullitt County-owned buildings, even though some people want a stronger ordinance that extends to all public places.
Bullitt County officials are holding the smoking ban meeting tonight at 6:00 in the Fiscal Courtroom at the Bullitt County Courthouse.
