LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Louisville woman remained calm and collected after discovering she had won $25,000 on a new scratch-off ticket from the Kentucky Lottery.
The woman, who doesn't want to be identified, said she enjoys playing new scratch-off games, so she picked up a "Wild Cash 20X" ticket at the Circle K on Shepherdsville Road last month, according to a news release from the Kentucky Lottery.
After scratching it off in the store, she didn't immediately realize how much money she had won.
"I saw the 'Wild' symbol and thought it was $2,500," she said.

Upon closer examination, she realized she had won all the prizes shown on the ticket — totaling the $25,000 top prize.
"I guess I expected it, but I was confused at first," she said. "That's not bad for $2."
She told officials she remained calm and didn't give away that she had won as she walked out of the store.
"I don't like to make myself known and didn't want people to know how much I'd won," she said.
The next day, she claimed her ticket at lottery headquarters and received a check for $18,000, after taxes.
"I've never had that kind of money in my life," she said. "I'm very grateful."
The woman told lottery officials she plans to save more money to add to her winnings and eventually move out of her current apartment.Â
There are three $25,000 top prizes remaining and 50 $1,000 second-tier prizes remaining on the Wild Cash 20X tickets, according to the release.
Circle K will receive $250 for selling the winning ticket.
