LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A popular Louisville bar and music venue remain closed after a threat was made on social media.

The Whirling Tiger in the Butchertown neighborhood received terroristic threats from someone saying they have explosive plans for the venue and threatening to beat people's heads in with a hammer. After the threats, the Whirling Tiger had to cancel it's Feed Louisville Benefit Concert, which would have raised funds for the Louisville nonprofit.

LMPD confirmed a report of terroristic threatening and the venue is closed until further notice.

The bar's owners said it will not reopen until the threat is resolved. LMPD's Fourth Division is investigating the threat.
