LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A career fair will be held next week in downtown Louisville.

Black Complex Louisville, a co-working space focused on providing more opportunities for small businesses with diversity and inclusion, will lead a career fair at U of L Health Equity & Innovation Hub at 515 W. Market St. from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 17.

"The vision for the Black Complex Career Fair and Summit is to create an inclusive platform that not only connects diverse talent with companies but also drives sustainability, innovation, and economic growth in Louisville, making it an attractive destination for top talent and fostering a sustainable future for both businesses and the community," said Aaron Jordan, founder and CEO of Black Complex Louisville

Some companies and organizations expected to attend include UofL Health, Bamboo Health, TARC, Derby City Gaming, White Lodging, KY Career Centers, BMG, Teach KY and Valvoline. Jordan said more companies are expected to be added in the coming days.

Registration opens at 8 a.m. Attendees can participate in workshops starting at 9 a.m. The career fair and interviews go from 1-4 p.m.
