LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Costco Wholesale is recalling some of its mattresses sold.
The recall involves 48,000 mattress because of mold that were purchased this year, according to a report from FOX59.
So far, about 500 customers reported a mold problem with the Novaform ComfortGrande 14-inch and Novaform Dreamaway 8-inch mattresses.
None were sold in stores in the Louisville area but were available on Costco's website.
Mold growth may have happened because of exposure to water when the mattresses were being made.
Anyone who purchased one of the affected mattresses should call the manufacturer FXI for a full refund or replacement.
