LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A longtime restaurant on Eastern Parkway near the University of Louisville's campus is closing.
The Cottage Inn at 570 Eastern Parkway, near Bradley Avenue, will be closing. The restaurant, in the St. Joseph's neighborhood, previously closed at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic after being open for more than 90 years.
But Kevin and Daniela Trice bought the building and kept nearly everything the same, including recipes and the menu as it reopened in Jan. 2023. The Cottage Inn featured southern comfort food and desserts.
"After many wonderful years serving up southern comfort food and good vibes, we’re closing this chapter of Cottage Inn Restaurant," The Cottage Inn posted on Facebook. "It’s been an honor to cook for you, laugh with you, and be a part of this amazing community."
New ownership will take over the restaurant soon.
