LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Gustavo's Mexican Grill is relocating its Norton Commons location just a few doors down.
The restaurant closed the original location in February but plans to reopen later this month, according to our partners at Louisville Business First.
Owner Gustavo Reyes said the move will allow the restaurant to seat more guests.
The new location, located at 10707 Meeting Street, will include three floors that have different themes.
The third floor will be "The Tahona Lounge" which is an adults-only bar.
"Sometimes they call us a chain because we already have five restaurants, but when I think chain, I think a big company like McDonald’s," owner Gustavo Reyes said to LBF. "We want to keep it small because we are a local family. And the community made this possible."
