LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A hotel near Mall St. Matthews has a new owner after selling for $25 million.
The Hilton Garden Inn Louisville Mall of St. Matthews, at 400 Sherburn Lane, was purchased last month by an affiliate of Spark GHC, a hospitality company based in Solon, Ohio, according to our partners at Louisville Business First.
The five-story hotel opened in 2016 and has more than 90,000 square feet of space. Guests have access to an indoor pool, fitness center, restaurant and business center.
The property was previously sold in 2021, when M2 Louisville LLC purchased it for about $20.2 million.
Spark GHC bought the hotel through a company called Sherburn Bluegrass LLC. The company owns and operates more than 30 hotels across the U.S.
It's not yet clear whether the new ownership plans to make any changes to the hotel.
