IKEA to open plan-and-order store with pickup in Florence, Kentucky next spring

LOUISVILLE, Ky (WDRB) — IKEA is bringing design help closer to home for northern Kentucky residents with a new Florence store.

The plan-and-order store with pickup, set to open in spring 2026, will let shoppers meet with IKEA design specialists to plan kitchens, bedrooms, and bathrooms.

Located across from Florence Mall on Mall Road, the 4,200-square-foot store will also offer delivery or scheduled pickup for all orders.

“This new location is perfect for customers who want to plan home projects and create a space they love,” Susan Blackstock, IKEA market manager, said in a news release.

The Florence store is part of IKEA’s new smaller locations, designed to give customers local access to design help and order pickup.
