LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The Kentucky Lottery has launched a new game in partnership with one of the state's most popular tourist attractions.
The Kentucky Distillers' Association is teaming up with the lottery for a series of games with a Kentucky Bourbon Trail theme, including a $5 scratch-off ticket, a $5 fast play ticket and an online game with multiple price points.Â
"The Kentucky Lottery is thrilled to collaborate with the Kentucky Distillers’ Association on this unique collection of licensed Kentucky Bourbon Trail®-themed lottery games," Kentucky Lottery President and CEO Mary Harville said in a news release Tuesday. "This partnership of two iconic Kentucky brands aims to leverage the rich heritage and widespread appeal of Kentucky’s signature Bourbon industry and its craft to create engaging lottery games for our players and retailers. It’s the perfect pairing."
Players can also enter a second-chance promotion to win a tour package for two people to three Kentucky distilleries, a cash prize of $10,000 and themed swag.
The brands said the partnership promotes America's native spirit while also funding college scholarships and grants.
"We are always searching for opportunities to celebrate America’s native spirit, and this collaboration with the Kentucky Lottery is a prime example of how we are able to heighten awareness of Kentucky’s signature spirit and our Kentucky Bourbon Trail® adventure," Kentucky Distillers’ Association President Eric Gregory said in a news release. "More importantly, this partnership will provide more students an opportunity to attend college through scholarships so they can continue their journey to become future leaders of our great Commonwealth."
