LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport added seasonal flights to some of the area's most popular vacation spots.
Allegiant's nonstop flights to Austin, Destin, Myrtle Beach and Savannah-Hilton Head have returned this summer.
The Destin flights will run three to six times a week through December.
Sun Country's nonstop flight to Minneapolis is returning this summer as well.
Travelers are also able to use the airport's CLEAR Mobile, which launched earlier this month, which helps guests get through security quicker. It allows members to "enhance their screening experience by expediting their queue time at the security checkpoint."
"Since last June, we have increased our screening capacity by 40% and nearly tripled the queue for the security checkpoint," Dan Mann, executive director of the Louisville Regional Airport Authority, said in a news release Friday.
Airport officials anticipate an increase of 3% in overall scheduled capacity by airlines, compared to last year.
