LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A local grocery store is on high alert after customers reported bed bugs inside the store.Â
A viewer gave WDRB News a tip that there were bed bugs at the Kroger located at 291 North Hubbards Lane in St. Matthews.
Kroger confirmed Monday there were reports and the company was already addressing them.
"We were made aware of the incident located in the associate breakroom," the company said in a statement. "We immediately initiated additional cleaning and sanitization protocols. Eco-Lab, our professional pest control company, has confirmed since their initial treatment, that they have not found bedbugs."
