Maker’s Mark, Dodgers team up for limited-edition bourbon supporting wildfire relief

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — An iconic Kentucky bourbon is teaming up with a major league baseball team to celebrate its recent championship season.

Maker's Mark announced Wednesday its collaboration with the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation (LADF) to create a custom bourbon, Maker's Mark Champion Selection x Los Angeles Dodgers.

The custom bourbon is bold and balanced with a hint of sweetness and notes of caramel popcorn, spiced peanuts and warm spices. It is bottled at 112.1 proof and costs $74.99.

Maker's Mark is donating the first barrel or about 275 bottles of the special bourbon to the LADF to benefit wildfire relief and recovery in Los Angeles. In addition, the commemorative bottle will also be sold in certain retailers across Los Angeles.

During Dodgers home games, fans can visit the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation Homebase Store to buy autographed memorabilia or make a donation to the LADF. Fans who donate $500 or more to the foundation will receive a free Maker's Mark Champion Selection x Los Angeles Dodgers bottle. Fans can also participate in an online auction from until July 7 to buy autographed memorabilia and experiences.
