LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The River Ridge Commerce Center has reached a major development milestone in southern Indiana.

The commerce center has surpassed 20 million square feet of developed building space, according to Louisville Business First. The business park was established in 1998.

River Ridge spans about 6,000 acres and is home to more than 80 companies, including Amazon, Meta, Canadian Solar and Medline.

“This is more than a square-footage benchmark — it’s a testament to the vision, collaboration and strategic investment that have shaped River Ridge into a world-class business destination,” said Marc Hildenbrand, executive director of the River Ridge Development Authority.

Development continues across the site. Louisville Business First reported that a 236,000-square-foot warehouse was completed in Jeffersonville in September.

Work is ongoing on Meta’s $800 million data center, one of the largest projects currently underway at River Ridge.
