LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Riverlink is warning customers of a text message scam going around.
If you go on Riverlink's website, you'll see a fraud alert about scammers impersonating Riverlink's tolling service, claiming to represent the company.
A fraud alert posted on Riverlink's website on Friday, Jan. 24, 2025, warning customers of a text message scam.
Scammers are texting about unpaid tolls, saying fees will be incurred if payment isn't sent immediately.
The texts also include a suspicious link. If you get one of these texts, do not click the link. Instead, check your account directly on Riverlink's website or call customer service.
You can also report the scam to the FBI.
