LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — People in a southern Indiana city are up in arms over late deliveries from Amazon Prime.
For the past several months, customers living in Seymour said their orders have taken days or even weeks to be delivered, as reported by FOX59 in Indianapolis.Â
With an Amazon Prime subscription, customers are supposed to get their orders delivered within two days, however, that's not the case in Seymour. The situation is so bad, customers created a Facebook page named after their zip code to document the delayed deliveries.
In a statement, Amazon said it's working to fix the issue, although no date was given for when things will be back to normal.
"People with family in Brownstown, Columbus, North Vernon, Scottsburg —they send it to them and get it next day or today and go pick it up. We shouldn't have to do that," Sally Sage, who’s a Amazon Prime customer, told FOX59.
Amazon said during a recent update to delivery plans for Seymour, a mistake was made that led to the delays, the company said in the statement.
