LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) --Ā Southern Indiana ice cream lovers now have to cross the river to get their Comfy Cow fix.
The Comfy Cow in Jeffersonville closed permanently Sunday night. A post on the company's southern Indiana Facebook page says it's scaling back to focus on its core stores to ensure the best products, services and staff for customers.
It's not the first closure of The Comfy Cow in southern Indiana -- the New Albany location shut down in March.
The Facebook post says the locations that closed were independent franchises that weren't showing profit.Ā Ā
According to the Facebook post, customers with unused gift cards can redeem them at any Louisville location. Five stores remain open in Louisville.
The Comfy Cow was founded in 2009.
