LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- An all new motorcycle museum is revving up excitement in Jeffersontown.
The Vintage 99 Motorcycle Museum will hold its grand opening on Nov. 15. The 15,000 square foot facility will open at 10205 Taylorsville Road.
The grand opening event will include vendors, food, drinks and more, along with a raffle benefitting the Dream Foundation. Museum owner Mitch Barnes said the museum will transport people back in time.
"Educationally as you come into the museum you can see different displays," Barnes said. "We've got about 70 old, 1970s, 1980s motorcycles and we talk about what is special in racing for us and all the different facets of fixing them and having a good time."
The museum will also hold a fun run to benefit the Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association on Nov. 9.
