Zaxby's chicken chain to open 1st Corydon, Indiana, location

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A new saucy chicken option is scheduled to open its doors for the first time in Corydon, Indiana, next week.

According to a news release, Zaxby's will open a location in Corydon on Monday, Sept. 25. The restaurant will be located at 2363 State Road-135 S, near the interchange with Interstate 64, and will be open for dine-in and drive-thru.

"For over a decade, we have had plans to bring Zaxby's to the Corydon community and today, our dream becomes a reality," Jerry Ayers, CEO and co-owner of Unbridled Chicken LLC, the owner and operator of the restaurant, said in a news release Thursday.

The farmhouse-style building spans roughly 2,700 square feet and will feature a dining room that can accommodate up to 50 guests as well as a double-lane drive-thru.

Customers an also order ahead online and on the Zaxby's app.

This will be the 12th Zaxby's location in Indiana.
