LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- People browsed for artwork in Louisville's Butchertown neighborhood Saturday.
The Butchertown Art Fair is held by the Butchertown Neighborhood Association's primary fundraiser. It is a juried art fair from more than 70 artists around the region.
There was live music, food trucks and cocktails. Several local nonprofits benefited from the fair, which started in 1968.
"We want to make sure we have jewelry, and apparel, and oil paintings and glass so we want to really make sure we got a really strong diversity of art," said Lauren Hendricks with Butchertown Neighborhood Association.Â
The art fair continues Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. It takes place on the 800 block of E. Washington Street.Â
