LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Engines are revving and chrome is shining in Louisville this weekend.
The Bluegrass World of Wheels Custom Car Show rolled into the North Wing of the Kentucky Expo Center. Hundreds of classic cars, trucks and motorcycles are all on display.
The vehicles will compete for the coveted Bourbon Barrel Select trophy during the International Show Car Association sanctioned event. Points count toward the ISCA Championship.
For some attendees, it's their first time at the event. For others, it's a reunion.
"I know some friends here," said David Owen, a car collector. "I am from Louisville so I understand some people and know them very well and so I see friends I haven't seen, I used to race cars and I saw one of the guys who used to be on the racing team. You see people you don't see in years."
The event continues Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tickets are $21 for adults and $7 for children.
