LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The new year will bring a new name and a new owner to an iconic Louisville club.
Steve Hofstetter and Comedy LLC announced that they bought the Comedy Caravan at the Mid-City Mall on Bardstown Road.
Hofstetter is a comedian himself.
He says the club is not what it once was, and he hopes to restore it to its old glory. That means some changes, including a new name: The Laughing Derby at the Comedy Caravan.
There will also be a makeover of the space, and a new logo.
The new owners will take over operations on Jan. 23.
