LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The I-65 overpass at Phillips Lane was damaged when a truck with a flatbed trailer hit it just before 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon, according to MetroSafe.
The crash spilled the truck’s load of heavy equipment, and caused chunks of concrete to fall to the ground.
Phillips Lane was closed between Preston Highway and the Kentucky Exposition Center while crews cleared the scene.
The Kentucky Department of Transportation was called to inspect the damage.
