LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The flooding in February has left lasting effects on the area along the Ohio River.
Crews are working to clean up areas along the river front.
"This is probably on par with six or seven years ago, it was probably a little bit bigger then, it's a massive job," said Jonathan Delks, Louisville Metro Parks and Recreation Manager
Delks said there was six or seven inches of mud on the parking lot at Cox Park, and crews had to haul away the leftover driftwood and debris.
Crews expect to be completed with clean up efforts at the park by the end of this week at the earliest, but that could continue into next week.
