LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A 19-year-old accused of shooting at two teenagers in Louisville earlier this year is expected in court Friday morning.
Noor Sheikh was arrested Thursday in connection with a February shooting on Greenwood Avenue.
Police said Sheikh and four co-defendants got into an argument with a 13-year-old and a 15-year-old before opening fire.
The 15-year-old was shot multiple times and taken to the hospital. The teenager survived.
Investigators said a nearby home was also struck by gunfire during the shooting.
According to police, Sheikh and the other suspects were traveling in a stolen vehicle at the time of the shooting. That vehicle was later found burned.
Sheikh faces several charges, including assault, wanton endangerment and arson.
