LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Two brothers were shot Monday night at an apartment complex in Jeffersontown, the city's police chief said.
Chief Rick Sanders said officers were called just after 9:30 p.m. to The Pointe at Stoneybrook Apartments, just south of Stony Brook Drive and Taylorsville Road. Officers found a 17-year-old boy shot in the stomach and his 21-year-old brother shot in the leg.
Sanders said both are expected to recover.
Police are actively investigating the case, and Sanders couldn't release any further details on a search for suspects.
