LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Two people were hospitalized after a shooting in Shively Friday evening.
According to Sgt. Jordan Brown, spokesperson for Shively Police, officers responded to the 3500 block of Fern Lea Road on a report of shots fired around 6:15 p.m.
Shortly after police arrived on scene, they were notified that two victims, a male and a female, had arrived at an area hospital by private means, Brown said.
Brown said the man and woman, both in their early 20s, were shot several times, but are expected to survive.
