LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — An Indiana man is behind bars, accused of driving high and killing someone.
Indiana State Police responded to a two-car crash on Interstate 65 in Clark County on July 6, 2023.
ISP said 21-year-old Nicholas Alexander, of Georgetown, Indiana, was driving an F-150 and rear-ended a semitruck.
Shane Moss, 20, was in the passenger seat of the F-150. Moss was transported to UofL Hospital, and died almost a month after the accident on Aug. 5.
According to court documents, blood tests showed Alexander had drugs in his system at the time of the crash.
He faces a list of charges, including a charge for driving after taking drugs and driving while intoxicated.
Alexander pleaded not guilty in court on Friday and has a full cash bond of $100,000.
