LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A 22-year-old accused of street racing is now behind bars.

Louisville Metro Police said Quience Waddell has been on the radar of several agencies for street racing since at least September. The 22-year-old was arrested and booked here in Louisville.

Police said he's seen on surveillance video doing donuts in his Dodge Charger in the intersection of Shawnee Park.

According to court documents, Waddell had multiple people hanging out of his car and other people stood a mere feet away from his car as he spun around.

The video showed his license plate.

Cincinnati police had a tip Waddell would be involved in a street racing takeover in Louisville, and there's even a flyer with the location listed near Cox Park.

On Jan. 5, LMPD officers showed up to the area and tried to pull Waddell over, but police said he sped off.

LMPD said Waddell's license plate wasn't showing but a bumper sticker with his Instagram handle gave him away.

Police found the car three days later, and that's when Waddell reportedly cooperated and handed in his keys.

More than a week later, LMPD arrested Waddell Tuesday night and he faces several charges related to street racing and charges for reportedly putting other people's lives in danger.

Waddell made his first appearance before a judge Wednesday morning. His bond was set at $10,000.

If Waddell is able to post bond, the judge said he's not allowed to drive and can't go to either Shawnee or Cox Park.
