LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A 23-year-old Louisville man has been arrested and accused of murdering a man inside of Platinum Food Mart on June 27.

Louisville Metro Police Maj. Nick Owen said police responded to a report of a shooting in the 1000 block of West Broadway at 7:15 p.m. Police found a man dead outside.

Police arrested JoJuanta Dickerson on Wednesday, Sept. 20 in relationship to the fatal shooting.

According to court documents, Dickerson shot Indrias Joseph who was an employee at the store, after having a verbal altercation.

Joseph was pronounced dead at the scene.

Dickerson has been initially charged with murder and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon. He's set to be arraigned on Thursday.
