LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Another man has been arrested and charged in connection to a deadly shooting near the University of Louisville last month.
Dakota Compton, 26, of Louisville, has been charged with complicity to murder, assault and wanton endangerment in the deadly May 4Â shooting near the university's campus.Â
Officers responded to the reported shooting around 12:16 a.m. in the 400 block of University Boulevard, a Louisville Metro Police spokesperson said at the time.
When officers arrived they found two people, a man and woman, who had been shot. Both victims were transported to the hospital, where Bradley May, 32, died, police said. The woman survived, though the extent of her injuries and current condition are unknown.Â
This is the second arrest in the case. Brendan Spencer, 19, was arrested Friday on charges of complicity to murder, assault and wanton endangerment. Spencer pleaded not guilty in arraignment court Monday morning and his bond was set at $100,000.
Compton also appeared in court Monday morning for his arraignment. He pleaded not guilty and his bond was also set at $100,000. Compton is due back in court in September.
