LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) --Â Four men were shot in Louisville's Portland neighborhood early Saturday morning.
Matthew Sanders, a spokesman for Louisville Metro Police, said officers initially responded to the 600 block of North 29th Street on a reported shooting around 2:30 a.m.
Police found two men who had been shot.
Shortly after, LMPD received another call about a shooting at Boone’s, a gas station located in the 500 block of North 22nd Street. Officers discovered two men suffering from gunshot wounds inside a van.
Police said it was determined that both of the incidents are directly related. Each victim was taken to UofL Hospital and are expected to survive but two men were in surgery as of around 8:15 a.m.
