LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Police are asking for help as they search for another suspect accused of punching and spitting on a TARC driver in downtown Louisville.
The incident happened on Sunday, Sept. 8, Louisville Metro Police said in a post on Facebook on Thursday.
Police said a man punched and spat on a TARC driver in the area of 5th Street and Broadway before he fled on foot.
Thursday's request comes a day after LMPD asked for help finding a different suspect accused of punching a TARC driver in the face back in August in NuLu.
Police said that incident happened around 9:30 a.m. Aug. 27. The driver of the TARC bus told officers that he was assaulted by a passenger who ran away before police arrived.
According to a police report, the assault caused pain and swelling to the driver's face, head and neck. Police said the attacker will be charged with fourth-degree assault when he's found.
LMPD said Thursday both cases are still under investigation and they are believed to be unrelated.
