LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A southern Indiana woman is accused of killing her boyfriend.
It happened Saturday night in Tell City, in Perry County, Indiana. Police responded to a 911 call from a woman who said her boyfriend had been shot.
Officers found Aaron Waninger unresponsive, and he died at the scene.
Indiana State Police was called to help with the investigation, and detectives determined 51-year-old Tonya Coomer shot Waninger.
Coomer is charged with murder and criminal recklessness with a firearm. She was taken to the Perry County jail where she was being held without bond.
