LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A 60-year-old man has been identified in a fatal shooting inside an apartment at an Old Louisville senior living facility.

Louisville Metro Police responded to a report of a person down inside an apartment at the Hillebrand House in the 1200 block of South Third Street July 11 around 2 p.m. Police found Dwight Butler with a gunshot wound.

Butler died at the scene, and LMPD's Homicide Unit was called to investigate.

Investigators are working to determine what led up to the shooting and what a possible motive might be, but have no known suspects and have made no arrests.
