Jamarcus Glover in Jefferson County district court

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Jamarcus Glover, the subject of a police raid in Louisville that killed Breonna Taylor, was back in court Wednesday, three months after he didn't show up for two court appearances on charges connected to a drug trafficking ring.

U.S. Marshals arrested Glover on Jan. 22 after an extensive fugitive investigation and search after finding him at a home on Rodman Street near the Algonquin neighborhood.

In court Wednesday, Glover pleaded not guilty to multiple charges, including using minors as a part of a drug trafficking ring. Before his name was called, he was seen getting up several times and waving his arms before he was given a mask.

Saying he is a threat to the community, the judge set Glover's bond at $50,000 full cash. If that bond is posted, he is to remain on home incarceration.

On Tuesday, Glover appeared in four circuit courtrooms on six previous charges. His bond was set at $250,000 full cash in three cases involving probation violations. A $50,000 bond for another probation violation remained at $50,000. A bond of $100,000 was set in another case, and a $50,000 bond remains in place for another previous charge. That's $450,000 total.

Glover was previously indicted for drug trafficking, engaging in organized crime and tampering with physical evidence. Kiera Bradley, along with a man in Nebraska and a woman in Owensboro, posted a $20,000 bond to help Glover get out of jail following his arrest on those charges on Oct. 1, 2023.

Glover then skipped his scheduled court appearance on Oct. 4. The $20,000 bond that was posted was forfeited after Glover's arrest on Jan. 22.

Police recovered a large amount of suspected methamphetamine, fentanyl, suboxone and ammunition from the Rodman Street home where Glover was arrested, according to a news release.

Glover was the target of Louisville Metro Police raids at several locations across the city in 2020, including the one where police killed Taylor.

In October 2023, Glover and six others were scheduled to be arraigned on charges connected to a drug trafficking ring. Glover was a no-show along with three others, but three of his alleged co-conspirators were in court.

The latest investigation into Glover's alleged involvement with the drug ring started last April when police were called to the overdose death of a 13-year-old girl at a St. Matthews apartment. According to court documents, Glover lived at the apartment where the girl died. He is not charged in the teen's death.

Glover's next scheduled court appearance is in February.
