LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The Jefferson County Coroner's Office released the identity of a man who was shot dead in the Russell neighborhood earlier this week.
Louisville Metro Police Officers responding to a Shotspotter call in the 2400 block of Magazine Street around 1 a.m. Tuesday morning found a man with "multiple gunshot wounds" who was "beyond help." He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The coroner's office has identified the victim as 19-year-old Ja’Mare Postell.
LMPD's Homicide Unit is investigating.
