LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — The man who was shot and killed Sunday morning in Louisville's Russell neighborhood has been identified.
Louisville Metro Police officers responded to a report of a shooting near the intersection of 18th and Jefferson streets around 2 a.m. When police arrived on scene, they found a man inside a car who had been shot.
EMS was called to the scene, but the man was pronounced dead.
On Tuesday, the Jefferson County Coroner identified him as 49-year-old Ronald Wesley of Louisville.
LMPD is still investigating, and there are no known suspects. Anyone with information is asked to call LMPD's anonymous Crime Tip Line at (502) 574-5673. Tips can also be submitted online.
