LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- An 18-year-old charged in connection to the murder of a teen in Valley Station was in court Monday.

Muhamud Hassan and a 17-year-old boy were arrested last week for complicity to murder, and 18-year-old Jamal Sheikh was arrested just hours after the May 6 shooting on Bold Forbes Boulevard. That's where 17-year-old Laith Rajha was found shot in the head.

Court documents said detectives were told Hassan was the one who fired the gun.

Police said Sheikh told them he was driving three people to the apartment complex for a gun transaction before the victim was shot.

During his arraignment on May 19, the judge raised Hassan's bond from $100,000 to $500,000 full cash.

Hassan is due back in court on May 23.
