LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A Green County, Kentucky man will spend 13 years in prison after a crash killed one woman and injured five more.
The crash happened on June 24, 2023 in Green County near Summersville, according to Kentucky State Police.
Police said 23-year-old Daniel Sidebottom was driving drunk, ran a stop sign and a caution light, hitting another car and injuring several inside, including a Hardin County Sheriff's Deputy.
63-year-old Sandra Durfree, of Hodgenville, was killed in the crash.
In September 2023, Sidebottom was indicted on several charges. A year later, Sidebottom pleaded guilty to vehicular homicide under the influence, assault, OUI and possession.
Sidebottom was sentenced last week.
