LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — An Indiana man is charged with child molestation following a monthlong investigation.
Indiana State Police arrested 31-year-old Michael Allen Richardson of Hardinsburg on Friday.
The investigation started on June 12 after the Indiana Department of Child Services was made aware of the allegations. The investigation included a forensic interview, and detectives then got a search warrant for cell phones related to the case.
Detectives believe Richardson had illegal sexual contact with a child.
He was arrested and charged with four counts of child molestation, five counts of child exploitation and other charges.
Richardson was already incarcerated at the Washington County Jail in Indiana on separate charges when he was arrested Friday.
